It is Oct 19th and we're still getting ready for our trip that will take us into the next year. Jenny and I got engaged on a trip to Russia this past summer and decided that this winter (i.e. the fabled New York winter) is something that we'd rather skip.
So, off we go for a whirlwind tour to discover the world out there. We both have recently quit are jobs: Jenny was working as an attorney in a non-profit organziation helping to make this world a better place. I had been working on Wall Street for the past 11 years with the last 7 as a research analyst covering the Cable TV industry.
While we both have some hesitatoins in quitting our jobs and leaving behind what many would consider solid careers....you only live once!
We leave on Oct 31st and can't wait to get this party started...
